– Gravitas Health and Safety Standards for COVID-19 –

Our team is thrilled to welcome guests through our doors and we are committed to consistently seeking better ways to serve you. As we continue to focus on being intentional about the health and safety of our guests and team members, we are now asking our guests to partner with us in this endeavor. As a guest at Gravitas for dining in, pick-up, or delivery, you will see a 2% Health & Safety Surcharge added to your final check. This charge will help to support some of our increasing costs in areas relating to PPE for our team, hand-sanitizing stations, increased filtration, and surface sanitation for our guests.

The following are just a few of the many protocols all staff must follow while the threat of COVID-19 is present in our community:

    • All staff must wear masks.

    • All staff must have their temperature taken by a manager upon entry into the building.

    • All staff are required to wash their hands with soap and water upon entry to the building and abide by strict hand-washing policies throughout their shifts. 

    • All interaction with guests and with food will be conducted wearing face masks and gloves. 

    • Gloves are to be discarded after each guest interaction and replaced with new gloves after hand washing. 

    • All surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized after each use.

The following protocols are required of all guests while the threat of COVID-19 is present in our community:

  • Please do not visit us if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have had contact with someone who has tested positive. If you need to cancel your reservation, please provide us with adequate notice in order to abide by our cancellation policy.

  • All guests will be greeted by a host just inside our front doors. If another guest is already checking in, we ask that you wait outside until our team is able to assist you.

  • If your table is not ready for you upon your arrival, a team member will designate a waiting area for you.

  • All guests must have their temperature taken by an employee upon entry to the building. This will be contactless. No guests with a temperature above 99F will be permitted to enter the building, regardless of the personal protective equipment the guest has on/with them.

  • All guests will be asked to use a mask upon entering the restaurant and when getting up from the table for any reason. If you do not have a mask, one will gladly be provided for you for a $3 charge.

  • To abide by contact-tracing guidelines, all guests must provide their full name and phone number.

  • Guests dining in The Conservatory are limited to a 2-hour experience to allow for proper sanitation between parties. Guests in our dining room are not held to a firm dining time.

The following describes changes we have made within our restaurant to increase the health and safety of all of our guests:

  • All tables have been organized with increased distancing (6 feet) between them.

  • Guests will be offered the option of a physical menu or a paperless QR code menu.

  • All dining surfaces are sanitized between each use. Frequently touched areas will be disinfected often.

  • Gravitas will have hand sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant and we encourage all guests to use them as much as they would like. They will be stocked with touchless hand sanitizer.

  • All bathrooms have been equipped with touchless soap dispensers and additional air filtration.

  • Sanitizing wipes will be provided to guests upon return of credit cards.
